Had an email a few minutes ago.....

Computer Pilot free (again).

Go to the website http://www.computerpilot.com/ then click on the cover of the magazine to download it free. They are asking though that you tell others (done my bit now!!) and also that you click on some of the advertisers links (which is fair enough).

So get downloading!! Some good reading there.

smooth landings.

Paging through it in PDF form, this issue actually looks really good and solid!

I used to have a subscription to this magazine, but let it lapse due to the increasing prevalence of predominantly pointless, lame, simulator "stories" and character accounts that made it feel like a kid's mag. It really started to lack in newsworthy and educational content, but if this issue is anything to go by, I really didn't see much in the way of pointless expositions.

Neat!

Those who have downloaded it may have read the article about prepar3d. They state that the are in the process of doing a complete overhaul of the origonal code to a gpu rendered DX11 world including all the cool stuff that DX11 brings like tessalation and real world lighting etc... Sounds very very interesting.
