I read on Airliners.net recently that Lufthansa are soon going to withdraw their Avro/BaE 146s. These aircraft are getting on now, so the chances of flying in them will be less and less.

Good, sharp shots there, nice even light too. Not easy to photograph a white aircraft, but the light and exposure (and sharpness) is spot on.

Smooth landings.

I had one of the last flights here in NZ on the 146 , I should have been a cabin director back then , had one Knob on another flight , how the hell it got the job i don't no , people skills pointed the fact he was GA .

One thing i liked about the type was watching the wing and control surfaces , end of the day they must have been a wrong choice , all pilots wanted 73s but 146s they got .

One of my favorite aircraft. I think they are getting phased out based more on economy aren't they? With airline ticket fares much lower these days, these 4-engine aircraft chew too much gas for the number of passengers they carry over a specific range? I too cant wait for the QW sim version to come out.
