Amazing to think, looking at those two aircraft side by side, that their first flights were only 20 or so years apart....

Wow, wow, and more wow! Thanks for posting!

I've always liked the Fw190. It'll be such a treat to see it in the air. No doubt you have your "spotter" plane seat booked already, laugh.gif

I know this is an old chestnut, but I'm surprised it can't sport a swastika whilst that puny Me108 monstrosity can ...

Yay!!!!!! Thanks for posting that! How did Darth Vader get in the picture?

I'm no Nazi lover (I'm Polish!) ... but an Fw190 without it looks odd. I wouldn't want this topic to go all political, so I'll stick to saying what a great pic of a superb aircraft - thanks! Looking forward to more winkyy.gif

Yep she was up flying yesterday so I popped out to see it do a few circuits along with my son. Caught up with Gav Conroy as well which was great. He was hoping to be up today doing some air-to-air photography. I'm sure we will see some of his magic posted here in the near future. He also showed me his latest camera purchase - whew - what a piece of kit winkyy.gif !!

Was good to catch up yesterday mate.
Never flew with it today, weather was not good enough and if we don't do it tomorrow it will have to wait until next year.
Haven't tried that $20 piece though.

I think Gav is taking a well earned break, so might pay to be patient. If anybody watched One News Weather tonight - Jim Hickey showed an air-to-air shot of Gavin's in his intro.

The photos are to be uses in a magazine feature or two first.
The weather came good in the end which was good but flying conditions were rough, hard to win sometimes.

Here is a quick video of one of the take offs.

Just bought a proper camera for the in cockpit stuff as well. cool.gif
