Diego Garcia Birds

Been a while since I've done some dedicated screening, it's been more snap-shotting on my travels.

Anyway a few flights around the excellent Freeware, photoreal Diego Garcia US Navy/Airforce Base. Diego Garcia (FJDG) is located south of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean and is part of the British Indian Ocean Territory. It's a base that serves a lot of bombers and the likes, but also is a stop off for carriers and their aircraft.

Not much off that Island left ... like many in the Pacific will gradually be taken , one famous one from WWII is Tarawa , course not much off Midway either , i do wonder if they plan to try and reclaim the atolls or let them be taken .
