The second flight has been made with the B.N. 2 "Islander" from flight1.com It may be not very clever, but i need a little bit another... to fly the same thing a second time....

Now I hope, we have no polemics about VLC or ORBX. You can see, both are working fine... Which is the better one? Think, every virtual pilot can see this for itself... Iam from Germany/Latvia and have no idea about the real New Zealand, know only Fotos and sources from the Internet and the Baedecker guidebook New Zealand...

Think, I have VLC in use and do not need ORBX. It was only a test, and 20 Euro was not a bad deal to get something to test it. For me VLC is a good representation... of New Zealand and it worked well without any problem with Godzone and Mike's Szenery's. I can't say the same with ORBX. I have checked it out with Wanaka and Tekapo. Some things are not working... the runways for example are from ORBX and Godzone and it doesn'd work.

That the dis-appointing across the board , third party addons 'RealNZ Scenery' 'Godzone' 'FS-Creation' and all the freeware work together or one complements the other , this is has always been the general rule , Orbx is also third party so whats needed is excludes to delete and reorganize files till all work together , it not a one man scenery concept but a group collective so that will get fixed . smile.gif

On another note , Hassy , I checked your screens yesterday , on snail pace wireless - man! that was painful , this morning back to using cable , boy what you take for granted , open your thread this morn and it was instant viewing ... great screens biggrin.gif

I am an early purchaser of VLC, and am also a long time user of orbx oz and nth american scenery, so on purchasing and using the orbx scenery for NZ South Island it appeals to me, and I will continue to use it, as like so many others, I am not an NZedder and so have no concept of the real NZ to which to compare orbx NZSI.

As with most things beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we are all free to have and express our preferences, and swapping between sceneries is a good option, reaping the benefit of both worlds - or as in this case both South Islands. winkyy.gif

Nearly forgot - great set of pics - which is what I meant to say - getting older.
