Thanks, RD ... you'd be amazed at some of the weird planes I tried along the way. Even a Wilga on floats laugh.gif

Fortunately, quite a few of them had texture problems, so disqualified themselves!!

Still a bit of holiday in the air.. found The Dude again.
This time, he has a rugby jersey souvenir, and Steinlager in the chilly bin.

The Dude, at RealNZ Rotorua.

Ok....So I'm not dreaming? Sinz = Noob Simmer.

Photoshopped C130...Never was Amphibious?

Not Photoshopped (I have the same Captain Sim model) ... but it may well have been fictional! I think it never left the drawing board!

3) The images must be jpg and size must be at least 1024 pixels wide and no wider than 1280 pixels

Was going to be silly and make it twice as high as it is wide. lol but that would be silly! Sorry had a few bourbons.

Seaplanes...Very cool...especially the C130. Although not much good if you live in the center of Australia rolleyes.gif

I posted a Seaplane shot not long ago, first landing in One (a seaplane that is). Did'nt like it, because I was playing around with graphics card and there was a line in the back. Was happening every few seconds.
So this one is from the front....

Lake Pukaki...Airfeild at the start of the lake. NZSI Scenery.

Yes a boring old FSX Aircraft.....

The idea or concept did get to tank testing using a 1/8 scale and also may have been on a full flying boat hull .

Thanks Ian, the Duck's an old fave of mine. First saw the movie back in the '70's and loved it.

Hope you're feeling a bit better mate, will try and catch up again before I head away.

That clip is hilarious. I love the way he puts his hands on what would have been a *red hot* engine at the end ...

Didn't realise a plane like that could be so agile/aerobatic (or cope with so much spray)!
