Well done, Bob - I can see you're getting the hang of this (drat!!!). Just a shame that the Tiger Moth isn't a default MSFS aircraft! Hmmmm .... there's an idea for another comp theme!

Back in the late 1960s and 70s the Mt Cook Grumman Goose was a common sight in the Bay of Islands.
Jon Murchison's paint of the MSFSX default Grumman Goose touching down in Pomare Bay outside Russell.

Over the years they had both the Widgeons and the Goose on the Bay of Islands run and I have traveled from Russell to Auckland and back a few times on both.

Showing on a TV3 News report , dang impressive , one thing i do watch out for is this time of the year and the Storms , some have already said 'What the hell are you doing out here and what are you looking at' .. maybe replace Jim Mcdavitt in weather watch .

OK where the hell has everyone gone with just over a week to go and only eleven entries so far.
We need a lot more entries to make it worth while running these comps so come on get your A into G and get your entry in.
A Captain Sim prize is well worth having a go at someone has got to win it and if you haven't got an entry in it most certainly wont be you.
