Many shows do develop depending on quassie jibber , had one show at Avalon where the Ruskys were to turn up and because the Americans showed up they puusy'd out .. was spose to be a SU-37 , again hearsay and rumours .

Exactly my point, been to a few Wanaka shows that were the same.......lets wait and see, and if i hear anything (confirmed) I'll let you know.
So , as of today....its, whatever the Air Force can get together, plus RAAF F-18's and C-17, and a C-130 from Singapore...as far as my (reliable) sources are concerned.

These overseas aeroplanes are listed as coming on the RNZAF page.

Royal Australian Air Force F-18A Hornet
United States Air Force C-17
Royal Australian Air Force B737 Wedgetail
Royal Australian Air Force C-17
Royal Australian Air Force C-130J
Singapore Air Force C-130
French Armed Forces of New Caledonia CASA 235
US Marine Corps KC-130

RAF have not confimed as yet and not all of the above will display but should be there.

Cannot wait for the show, we will be heading up in the Nanchang if the weather is good.

Don't hold your breath. The cuts being made to all UK Armed Forces to enable the MoD to balance its books for the first time in 40 years has been savage. I'm sure the RAF would want to participate but the polys and paper shufflers have other ideas. Sign of the times I'm afraid. Very sad.

In danger of starting that rumour mill again the RAF suppose to appear with E-3D.

There are plenty of warbirds on the list too...Hunter, Spitfire (2), Avenger, Mustang, Kittyhawk (2), Corsair, Bristol Fighter etc etc

Got Ferry tickets for my son and I. Staying in Wellington with my folks who are coming down. The boys will drive up from there. Hopefully its good weather wise! I went to the 1981 Ohakea show and it was a major contributor to why I joined the Air Force. I was at the 1987 show of course, my second year in the mob. Not sure what this one will bring!

I've got my accommodation sorted - going to be commuting from Wanganui but that's ok. There are about 12 of us from Auckland Aero Club taking some aircraft down.

Scary , well its not , History we will see , come all armed forces prity much ripped apart , without being i'm a warmunger (better than watching fusball) , which i am for but with reason will bite em in the 'A' but for anything if something dose start .. lets hope they take out the primary target first , the people that pulled it apart in the first place .

Exercise kiwi Flag 12: Hornet v Herc exercise? Is why the Classic Hornets are participating - I think?.
