They were to be replaced ? at some stage or looking for a replacement , guess no word on that either .. looking at Dash8s at one part of it .

I have heard the replacement for the King Airs 200s are more than likely to be King Air 350s including some MP variants

They least are well proven , i guess costing being the thing , and with recent disasters across the country , they may even be later .

Only sometimes, but it's certainly one of the better ones. Supposed to be taking it to Stewart Island and back next week.

I'm practically famous! I flew JMY in and out of there. Certainly not the easiest airspace to get around with the jets coming and going. Cheers for the link

Yep, it was awesome fun. Best moment was at 5500" crossing the straight direct from Karori Rock to Cape Campbell.
Oh and landing in Dunedin with the headwind 40knots gusting 60. Hovered onto the runway
