Currently out in Fiji but back to CHC shortly. Here are a few shots taken over the last few days at the airport.

First time that I had been on an AirNZ A320, and I was very disappointed to see that there is a $10 charge to watch movies. And this is in addition to the $25 bag charge and $25 'meal' charge, and of course, the $4 credit card charge. New name is perhaps Ryanairnz.

I'm curious, did it look like many passengers were going onboard the 744?
Nice pics

Not sure how many were on the 744 but judging by the airport and the general lack of tourists in Fiji, then I guess that it will be pretty empty. The increase in the departure tax by 5 times (to FJD$150) is sure to hit tourism here..

smooth landings.

$150pp! Was thinking about a family holiday there but with 5 of us thats a big hit...no thanks..Gold Coast it is.

Was interested in the Bandit ...it would apprear that it is no longer airworthy.

The 747s of Air Pacific aren't going to be around for much longer....they have smaller A330-200s on order (after cancelling the 787 order)
