I'm enjoying this PMDG 747 so much - and seeing as I always try to stay "loyal", I splashed out on the McPhat AirNZ repaint. Interesting to compare with the bundled repaint (above).

Just look at that detail!!!

It dose look extremely detailed , i wonder if David Sweetman is part off this group ? In the readme , his paints were coinsiding as McPhat was starting out .

Can't tell from the download. The archive auto-installs into our PMDG 747 (no readme's or anything) - and the entry in aircraft.cfg doesn't give any additional info. Maybe it was a team effort, and no individual repainter could take the credit <?>.

Well finally kicked the tin and did it....and have NO regerets what so ever biggrin.gif was averaging 20-24 using x1 GTX580 Megascenery Honululu with PMDG NGX in VC mostly and now since adding a second GTX580, I couldnt beleive the difrence!!!! 100% traffic (Air) maxed texture and resolution settings and now averging late thirties to late forties....anyone else had similar results? Be keen to know if there has been an update sneak in or the like improving things where SLI is concerned

Yep, I have been using two cards with three screens in 'Surround' for quite a few builds and am using two 580's at the moment on 27'' screens with no complaints - no heavy metal, just bush flying and some old airline stuff - mostly my fps sits at 60 ('inspector' frame llimiter), but at big airports (not in NZ) drops to 45 -60 as smooth as silk.
Similar results with a single GTX590 . Specs i72600K @ 4.6

Jezuz, 2x580s, you made of money or what? smile.gif
Very jealous, making do with my 560 for now, sounds like a good result.

No money no more - an expensive habit to feed - but seriously you have made a good choice with the 560 - I've used them, and with the speed of a Sandybridge CPU they are damn near as good as a 580, so don't waste money on cards, go for high speed CPU's
