Air China 747 at Christchurch

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Postby happytraveller » Tue Apr 17, 2012 9:34 pm

Just been up to the airport in CCh, and parked near the Antartic depot is an Air China 747. It was too dark to get a photo, as I was there after sunset, but if anybody is around tomorrow morning, Wednesday, then there might be a good chance to get a few shots of it.

Not often that you see Air China in Christchurch!! Not often that you see a 747 there either.

smooth landings.

Both accounts yeah , Chinese bigwig wanted a look at CHCH damage , would have been nice to see it as they stick with a more traditional scheme cool.gif
