these were floating around today....the zoom may have distorted them a bit, but they were amazing.....








look at the contrast in these .......so white, and so dark in front...







Sorry about the stuff in the foreground...... it was like rex or fex in imax .
As you can tell Im easily entertained these days winkyy.gif

Ha ha, I recognise some of those. I was photographing them too. There were some even better ones later (when I didn't have my camera with me!)

Thanks for looking Greg, Ive seen (and photographed) a lot of clouds , but those were just stunning .
Makes me think about the work involved "creating" that (or close too it) illusion with FEX/REX.....when just out the window its all for free.

Driving up the road to work, these looked just brilliant!! The extreme contrast of the dark gray and bright, bright white looks fantastic!! Would have been great to be up flying, love the shots splitpin!!

Marty , with Greg stopping this afternoon , Rick working on my place , we discussed the brilliant wicked weather on your day off the shoot , out at West Melton , Rick said how dramatic the lightning was later in the even .. course being so much further out of town , no city light appeared to be the spot to spot .. me i was content to Cloud Gaze that evening .. always my head in the clouds ..

Now are you sure with those big white fluffy things ... Cloud's.. sure your not an airline pilot unsure.gif ....... rolleyes.gif ... but laugh.gif
