Free 'legacy' scenery download with Real NZ Nelson

At the moment if you buy Real NZ Nelson from the Godzone Store, boxed or download, then you can choose any one Real NZ 'legacy' scenery for free. These include:
Real NZ Wellington Intl and City;
Real NZ Marlborough;
Real NZ Supercity: Auckland;
Southern Lakes Adventure;
Real NZ Rotorua/Tauranga.

It does not include 'Across the Strait' or the FSX legacy Collection s these are compilations.

This offer replaces the 'better together' discount for Nelson and Southern Lakes. Nelson is on special for a very short time, so this means that you can get Nelson and one other scenery for NZ$28. However this offer differs from the 'better together' offer as you won't need to add both Real NZ Nelson and your chosen free download to your shopping cart -- just add Nelson, and choose your free scenery on the Real NZ Nelson product page.

If you order the boxed version of Nelson, you can still choose a free download, but you will have to download it.

Where's my download?

When you order Real NZ Nelson, and choose your free download, the extra download will be available in your Account, although because of the way the Store download system works, each download will have the same 'item name'. However the file-name should help you identify which download is which:



The file-names here identify each download, although they won't be highlighted like this in the Store.

If you buy the boxed version of Real NZ Nelson, you'll see this in your account after your order is processed:




So even though the download is show as 'Real New Zealand/VLC Nelson', the actual file you'll download will be the free legacy scenery of your choice -- in this case, Southern Lakes Adventure. Confused? Sorry about that.

Well ill be the first to say it, if we already have Real NZ Nelson are we entitled to choose any one Real NZ legacy scenery for free. That would be nice

Hi Rob. I've been out of simming for 3+ years now but have finally managed (read: been given permission) to ease back into it. As a result I've missed out on these great posts and deals. I should also say that I find it very admirable to find on my return that you are offering past products up as freeware (NZWN, NZWB etc).

I'm ready to purchase NZNS (P3D with FTX patch) and NZTG (FSX with FTX patch). Is there still a facility where I can purchase both as I can't find Tauranga available anywhere!

Any info/assistance would be great.

The offer of a free scenery with Nelson closed a long time ago, sorry, and since then a lot of the legacy scenery has become freeware, including Tauranga. However I've just realised that although I promised to upload this to Avsim some time ago, I haven't yet:) I'll get onto that.

I would suggest that you give some thought to a Subscription -- this includes Real NZ Nelson now, and I will extend the current Bay of Plenty photoscenery through to the Coast, and tweak Real NZ Tauranga to match.

I know this seems like an expensive way to go, but there's still the NZFF discount, if you know where to look, which would bring it down to $59.40. So for an extra $24.50 over the price of Nelson only, you get all the current Subscription scenery, plus any future Subscription releases, which will eventually include a new NZWN, and maybe Napier and Hastings, and more.

Thanks Rob! I didn't realise the subscription came with airfields as well. That certainly seems the logical way to go considering you get NZNS and a new NZWN thrown in, so I've gone and purchased it! And yes, I spied the NZFF discount during my research late last night .

Cheers for the help (and scenery over the years). I was one of your first subscribers way back when (I think you were operating out of a photocopy business if my memory serves)! Though I admit I DID cull those discs during a recent office tidy up
