As threatened. People of a sensitive nature, close the browser right now laugh.gif

#1 was my main "also ran" pic - but Mt Cook looks like an over-sized ice cream cone, so I dumped it. #2 was OK but not wintery enough ... #3 was better, but somehow lacks drama.

There's something about that Wilga that reminds me of the bloke that went up Everest with those artificial legs ... but it's a great little plane to "fly" in FSX. You have to nurse that engine at that height/temperature, using the vents, carb heat etc. I love it!

Designed by committee and not everyone was at the meetings. Good old dependable mountains though - a split second before the Wilga struck one would have increased the drama.

You know how some aircraft, spitfire, C-130 Hercules, Catalina, DC3 to name a few, look good from any angle.

The question I have is, does the Wilga look good from ANY angle?

Only from the inside when you are really flying , then its the views that count biggrin.gif ..........."Wilga rejects"
