Omaka open day June 2012.

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Here are a few photos from yesterdays open day at Omaka.
The weather was okay and the forecast rain did not appear until everything was done and dusted.
Graeme Frew displayed the Yak 3 twice, and he gets better and better.
Also took a few Air 2 Air photos of Graham Orphans Stearman, he is not flying it in these photos though as he was flying the camera ship.

Yip it was a good day, will be nice to see the Yak 3 and Fw-190 together at some point.
The 190 is having its annual done and should be flying again soon.
