Don't suppose you caught any snaps of us in TAD in Hamilton yesterday arvo? We were about to go missed approach for 18L when the tower made us full stop for the Orion making an emergency landing on 36R.

No Unfortunately was stuck at a Police cordon on the edge of town - bottom of chinaman's hill at that stage, Only noticed that their was an emergency at the airport once they let traffic threw and was driving past the airport and noticed the orion on the apron with fire engine's around it.

Thats a bit sad. I remember the days of standing on the viewing deck at CHC with those JT8Ds screaming their tits off.

Think it was due to fog in NZAA. EK406 diverted to NZCH.

Yep, diverted along with NZ432 (WLG-AKL) due Thunderstorms in the vicinity of NZAA to pick up extra gas.
