Wonder if this is warming us up for TGII?
It's an hour and a half, I took it in 3 lunchtime bits.
Lots of interesting titbits from the participants in here.

Makes sense... it's one DVD I do not own.
On purpose: I can probably recite the 5 lines of dialogue by rote, and really cannot listen to that music again winkyy.gif

hi guys at the start of the year i had facebook alert about th remake of Top Gun but so far i have heard nothing since it is interesting to compare the youtube making of topgun to the dvd i have here that has a 2 disc set of top gun and i can still watch and enjoy it even after having seen it for the 150th time i know my dvd has a deleted scene that never made it past the final cut i as they had thought and screened goose's funeral and graveside service if anyone has the collectors version i would reccomend having a look as if it had been in the final movie it would have added to movie really well

I have a HD-DVD version, now there's the betamax of the 21st century... obsolete before anyone really noticed. But it does look good in HD.

Top Gun is certainly in my Top-10 favourite aviation related big-screen movies.
Needless to say, i do have it in my collection, on both VHS and DVD.
I would have to admit, ive probably watched it at least 150 times over the years, and i still havnt tired of it.
I would consider it a must-have aviation classic, right up there with other classics like "633 Squadron", "The Dam Busters", "Battle of Britain", "Reach for the Sky", "Memphis Belle", "Those Magnificent men in their Flying Machines", "Flyboys", "The Aviator", just to name some of ones in my collection.
