In short, I guess the answer would be yes, slightly. Don't expect to be walking straight out of flying school into a Q300 (or even a Piper Navajo for that matter) though. My pick is that it will always be pretty tough to make a start of a flying career if you stay in NZ.

Thanks for the reply mate, appreciate the reply. I'm quite willing to go overseas if need be, no problem for me there. I'll have to keep pondering it, I've got another 18months to think anway![]()

Liam , me have only a lotta hours fixed wing no PPL , eight sailplane/glider and do you think they would let me in the doors at CAC , Damien and Marks eyebrow's would raise a fair bit if i walked in the place looking like that .![]()
