I really like this site. It is so handy to be able to check an aircraft's registration when it flies overhead or find the location of a specific airliner. I have been using it for about a year now, but previously coverage over NZ hasn't been so great.

Agreed, I've also got it on my Android phone so can check it out while waiting for my wife's flight to arrive. Just park down the road and read a book until I see that it has landed then move on down to the paid car park. cool.gif

Its just a pity some off the older aircraft or some don't have the rd/transponder or US mil switch on , as Greg pointed out , dang handy with a laptop or similar device at the airport .

It maybe due to traffic at the gates, I was out at Christchurch a whiles back, they had two Dash8s and an ATR sitting on runway 11 running for maybe 10 minutes, gates were chocker ,guess simply late departures?
