Note: This is for the *Payware* Carenado C185F.

The temporary archive includes all the textures: C185F_ZK_BSP_v100.zip (30Mb).

The final file will have only the specific files necessary (after a copy of a basic blank texture) and so should be a lot smaller to download.

Please download and test - and let me know if there any "gotchas". Please also let me have a description/history of this rebranded C180 so I can put it into the description!

Thats so good Adam, i have just downloaded it now. Will test today if possible.

History is:
This Cessna 180 had languished in a private owner’s barn for some time and following purchase was relocated by a special ferry permit to Wrightair’s workshop shop for complete restoration.

Upon completion some 10 years ago now this Cessna 180 was sold to Gordon Spence for personal use. It averaged over 120 flight hours annually, and it is probably the most active privately owned 180 in New Zealand.

Based at Ardmore.

Looks OK to me. Good enough for it to be #1 selection for C185. Small point; beacon flashes white instead of red

Great job Adam , Clyde the beacons are part of the default Carenodo model , something that cannot be changed with a paint .

You could always change the beacon in the aircraft.cfg LIGHTS section, but it would affect all the C185F's.

I've re-packed the archive (at NZFSIM) and, all being well, will upload to the usual places.

EDIT: The amended archive now has instructions for using the repaint in Tundra/Ski/Amphibian/Float variations, for those people that don't have the basic C185F.

BSP is in a hanger at the eastern end of the airfield. Great pics by the way Adam and thanks so much. Its my fathers plane actually so he will like seeing this.

Damm fine shots Adam , and what a great thing to see your repaint flying (clever buggers) The only thing i ever "repainted" was that Airtruk , years ago....... didnt work....but it did glow in the dark.

Thanks , Paul - a fine pic of a stylish looking aircraft. I can see already that I may need to amend the wingtip flashes - they look like they need to extend a bit further into the wing.

@Splitpin: Maybe we should ask A2A to drop all further development and concentrate on an Accusim Airtruk!! I'd be happy to do some repaints if the model itself was better ... I do remember that pimped up Truk of yours (hard to forget!).
