Adams Island / Auckland Islands.

Has anyone else tried an FSX scenery by "Gera" called Adams Island Deluxe?
I'd be interested to hear your experience of it.

Hi Mike,

I tried it and it's a very nice and well done scenery. I didn't keep it though as in real life the islands are completely uninhabited, whereas this scenery showed Adams Island with an airport, housing sections and even what looked like a monastery on the hill. Good though it is, it's something of a fictional flight of fancy. I prefer realism so passed on it, but in the end it's down to personal preference.

Thankyou Adrian - I couldn't get it to look like the screenshot in the zip package, despite several variations on the install theme. Just a default, bare desert texture with no extras.
If I had, that monastery or castle or whatever it is would have been the first thing to go.
Wasn't going to comment until I found where the problem was - which you have helped me to do.
