Well ... I hate to be an old "stick-in-the-mud" but I think that livery is utterly *revolting* - dreamed up by middle-management plonkers trying to justify their fat salaries.

The black only relates to the *rugby team* ... whereas the old TEAL blue/green signifies what (I think) NZ is all about ... blue skies, blue/green water and green land ...

Maybe they should go for a *brown* livery ... muddy rivers, scorched earth laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Strangely, I was thinking along the same lines and was trying to think of a nice way of saying it - like "why did they bother" maybe. I'm getting the chance to have a close look at it in a couple of weeks so maybe that will make me change my mind - I've never been a fan of black cars either so maybe it's just a colour/shade bias on my part but interesting to see that others share my view point....

....of course there is one factor in common - we are all old farts so maybe it's just old age grumpiness coming through!!

More than likely ... though I'm more inclined to say it's because of our accumulated *wisdom* laugh.gif

The daft thing is ... they could have made it black (if they really had to), but still made it stylish. I quite like black cars (but then I'm not really into cars). I *do* like liquorice, though!

This ATR looks like a Hugh Hefner playmobile with a livery designed by a dyslexic 4-yr old.

it's the fern it makes it look fat in the arse-end, if it was just black with a grey or white Koru with a smaller fainter fern it would look better. I do like the Beech though it looks more in proportion.

Yes, that does sound better - and I too like liquorice so it's not an anti-black thing after all
