I wonder if its the same one that was originally a floating resturant lol, for Russian Carriers the Mig29K, SU33 and the SU25UTG. Not sure what China uses probably the Chinese version of those aircraft.

Some quite large leaps in musical score there... but what an aircraft!
You'd want to kill this one well BVR, if you got in close and dirty it is going to fly 3 rings around you, and pick its moment.

I've been a fan of the Flanker family ever since I saw one fly the Cobra manoeuvre at an airshow maybe 15 years ago.
There was not anyone who was not deeply impressed, which included the crew of an F-15E Mudhen.

"if you got in close and dirty it is going to fly 3 rings around you, and pick its moment" thats what all the reports say ..... awesome machine, strong and simple , i think thats the secret.

That is a must see , as one aviation reporter put it , most of the soviet aircraft were made out of boiler plate , speaking to Barf many years back , another trick to de-ice a IL-14 run it along the runway 50/60 knots and put the brakes on turn it around and fly out ! Oh those Russians

Yes this one made it onto the cover page of Stuff:

http://www.stuff.co.nz/oddstuff/7867466/Am...amp-like-runway

along with a passenger view of (possibly another) takeoff.
Not much to see after 2:27...
