Its fun but demands alot of concentration doing that stuff currently there is a Hawk and an L39C being made for DCS which in the future some of those teams will use.

Tell me about it .. I was the lead in the Harvard display with Jon's 'ARNZs' NZFF Forest Field airshow .. easy task for me but seemed with the little practice we had the team pulled it off very well

1min35 in this video and you'll see tape on the canopy, that helps with formations.

I can see where the tape would be very helpful , other thing to take into account is the leader constantly communicating , only clear way is via TS or everything turns to custard .. course lead only operating in the 70.80% power region .

I think our problem come down to low end systems trying to keep up causing jumping , no some who go and use the cheat formation key ... counting time was not an option when you could not get people to train , this stuff is super serious , seen it done at an airshow few years back and this there niche , they did it like real .. all had a simpit and a monitor and a large screen .. smooth as hell !

Another way to enjoy Flight Simulation .. but requires dedication .

Yeah the Virtual Blue Angels I've been to their try outs and its quite fun but very demanding back in the Lockon days.

The best formations I've done was with a few friends though and we did alot of finger tip formations with F4AF.

Heres a tryout shot a few years back.

And refuelling like this is always a challenge(with AI wingman)

Cool screens cool.gif , demanding yes indeed and practice .. I remember the old EF2000 days doing the inflight refuel , i got so good at it i tutored quite a few at other people places ... back then tho the internet was in its infancy and bloody expensive, long time ago 1995/6 .

Strange now to see it , be basic , was follow on but never really matched the original , just digest a little bit did you ever try Microprose Flying Fortress ? .. now that was fun , moving around different crew positions but sorta lost out to F4 when that was released around the same period .
