Canvasing for votes and getting friends to vote for your entry etc is frowned upon members should just be voting for the best image for the banner the prize is a secondary thing which I have managed to arrange with all our very generous sponsors.
And a big warning if I catch any member voting on their own entry their entry will be removed irrespective of how many votes it has the only exception to that rule is if the member accidentally votes on his own and immediately send me a PM telling me of his mistake and to remove his vote.

I'm convinced that not showing the vote tallies until the end will produce a fairer out come because subconsciously people are influenced by how others vote, thats why often there are two battling it out.
