Thats sad, I hope he is ok...
I saw the other day someone was killed in Rotoura I think after a top dressing accident during training or something...

I did my CPL ground course with the pilot who was killed in Rotorua the other day, that's really rough news, he was a good guy.

that reminds me would you guys be keen for some pics of the Marlborough Aero Work Cresco at a small airstrip in Upper Moutere? - I took some ages ago when we had fertiliser done on our farm

I will anyway here is the photos this was very fun i went down the runway a bit and ducked down to the side when the plane took off the wing went straight over my head! that learned me - I decided to stay back a bit!

Marlborough Air Works aircraft is a Walter powered Fletcher Fu24 not a Cresco

Good line of photos tho , the recent posting show the old footage from the 1950s puts into perspective the weights they throw into the aircraft then of he gos .. one farmer said "bloody dangerous"
