In my many travels across the internet in search of Spitfire infomation i found this drawing of a lovely Mk IX vs a Fw 190 A-something. I hope all of ya's enjoy this.





Forgot to add it's a later Mk IXc because of the lack of a I.D light on the fuse near the Cockpit.

Looks a nice piece ... why is the Spitty running tho .. he had that 190 in his sites , no mention of the artist ?

Perhaps he's in the middle of a "scissors" yaw to the right, and is about to flick back over to port and drop the nose? Or maybe his guns jammed? Or he's out of ammo? Or the 190's mate is flashing down out of the sun just starting to open up on him? Or he's low on gas? So many scenarios...

Pete Its a combat drawing .. as Capt Piccard .. Draw it like so .. you can refill his fuel tanks , draw in bullets - unjam his guns .... watch for the 'Hun in the Sun' thats what the rubber is for ... scratch one FW190
