From what I've heard on the forum, a core i7 wont give you much of an advantage over the i5, FSX will run just fine on both, personally I would go for an
i5 3570K and overclock. wink.gif

just wondering ifn anybody had any experiences with FSPS Xtreme FSX Booster and its use of multi core processors with FSX etc etc

Never looked at it , .. I recall when released the very same tweaks can be found freely , SOH is a good spot to start searching .
