put disc in and the installshield wizard opened and started going and came up with the following error:

Error 1324. The path Program Files contains an invalid character

I googled this error and it seems you have to acess the Registry Editor by typing in Regedit into Start-Run but when I do this it says that acess is denied - Help what do I do????? angry.gif angry.gif angry.gif mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

Windows is very protective of Program files (why I can't recall exact reasons - something about inexperienced users deleting or moving essential files). Quite a few recommend installing FSX on either it's own partition or better still it's own drive, where windows doesn't care what you do with it.

The other thing to try with regedit is make sure you are logged in and opening it with Admin rights...
Takeoff's are optional. Landings are mandatory.

Portable drives are no good for FSX
how big is the hard drive in your PC if you right click on your C drive and go to properties it should tell you there how many GB it is

Good that you have got it installed as I said it pays to check to see what path it is going to install to before hitting the install button
