I'm still puzzled about the Whenuapai default buildings as I've included a exclude in the facilities file and don't see any default buildings: If any developers have any other ideas about things to try I'd be grateful!

The Waiouru issue I'll check....it looks to be an issue with a missing flatten

No stress Tim, it's freeware so much appreciated in the first place. What is the name of the WP exclude I'll have a look and see if I've got it.

Likewise with the RU flatten file
Takeoff's are optional. Landings are mandatory.

Ok- I think I've found the source of all our frustrations with NZWP- Originally I started creating it in it's own folder as I thought it would be a separate release. Part way through I decided to include it in the Airfields pack and so moved it into that development folder- When I built the installer I used the incorrect facilities files which means I wasn't seeing the problems others were seeing.

So- attached to this post are replacement files [attachment=585:NZWP_ADEX_VLC.zip]
Just replace the files of the same name in your VLC_Airfields/Scenery folder (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\VLC_Airfields\Scenery)

These will be included in the next Nth Island airport pack release too.

Thanks very much Tim that sorted the problem with WP for me. A very good rendition of WP - I could find a few places I can recall from open days there and visiting mates at the mess cheers1.gif

With RU what's your advice?

I'm still to get to the bottom of NZRU but its related to a flatten or exclude file not doing its job smile.gif

Thanks Tim! clapping.gif
Whenuapai looks impressive:

Waiouru is not showing me any 'submerging' bits:

In my Scenery Library list
I have VLC at 72, immediately above Addon Scenery (at 73)
and the FS Global 2010 components at 90 - 97.

At one time I ran with the FSG Oceania set deactivated, but I couldn't see any difference, so now I let FSX work it out.

hmm good point- ZKCAV- what priority is your VLC_Airfields folder? If other scenery is using an exclude, then this could be excluding my flatten which would cause the issues you have.

Sorry Tim missed your post.

I did have VLC Airfields, Libraries, VerctorLandClass and VLC_DTM down in the 380s - which was still above Global 2012 (Yep there's a heck of a lot of add-ons), I've bumped them up to 15 - 18 in Priority the only things of higher Pri are VLC individual airfields, OH V2 And 5 Real NZ areas had the same result

Put the 4 at Pri 1 -4 and still have the same result.

Regards Paul

*Update* Got the NZRU issue resolved. Did a third uninstall re-downloaded and reinstalled the pack and it has sorted the elevation issues. So I guess it must have been a corrupted download - who knows damn computers?

I've just uploaded version 1.21 of the Nth Island airfields - This adds Tokoroa (NZTO) and fixes the default building exclusion problem at Whenuapai smile.gif

Just as well you held off Splitpin as the file I uploaded yesterday omitted the world/scenery bgl so the airport looked a bit odd smile.gif New version just uploaded now.

I haven't been able to check in to this discussion for a while as I've been rebuilding my FSX over the last month, but thanks for the fixes Tim.

The airfields are looking great and I'm enjoying exploring them all in something fast and low! clapping.gif thumbup1.gif

Cheers,
