Can't help myself - since I might not end up entering this month anyway.. The default FSX moon is rather dull, why not try this one? I use the 512x512 textures and it's still spectacular..

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Just sharing something simple to make everyone's sim that much better Ian. If I see the moon when I'm flying I'll snap a shot. Just not doing much night flying at the moment (enjoying the NZ scenery by day!)

Cheers Alister -
I don't do much night flight either. I had an idea for a screenie, but the default moon looked pretty dismal. So I looked around for a better one, and then spent days trying to find an accurate moonrise calendar and getting FSX to coincide with it.
And after all that, you publish the good moon info first! ohmy.gif laugh.gif
Such is life.

Some great great shots coming in, but some users need the cheek knocked out of them, and land on the bum.

Had trouble coming up with an idea for this months topic. In the end I have gone for an early morning Moon setting over the Coromandel flying PMDG J41 jetstream
