angry.gif Just spent a frustrating morning fighting a piece of build it yourself furniture .... a four drawer storage thing.

What a joke .... the team who cut this one out must have had some bad rice balls for lunch ... every hole was at least 10mil! out , one side wasn't drilled out at all .
The material its made of is like a weetbix , and wont take to much re drilling .... so i took it back.

Trying to explain to the little lady at the service desk what was wrong , was a mission in it self .....but she was good and i got a replacement .
I was dreading looking at it in case it was part of a "batch" .
But it was all there, everything lined up (almost) I priced up material to build the same thing myself , and you just cant do it cheaper (better , yes) , but not cheaper .

Good on ya Warehouse

Ah yes the Warehouse. Practically destroyed the NZ manufacturing base single-handedly and all but abolished penal rates for workers. Also the biggest contributor to our balance of payments problem.
Just one big $2 dollar shop. It's maxim should be "How low can we go....".
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Marty , very surprised you simply just did'nt go to Miter10 , pick some of those lengths of MDF board , so easy , lengths pre-cut and painted , NZ-made and custom make it your shelf ... so easy smile.gif
