Naki wrote:QUOTE (Naki @ Apr 16 2013,4:20 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>That would be a nice kit. I collect 1/48th kits (one day I will build them!). I only have 7 so far (Eduard Yak-3, Hasegawa RNZAF P-40M, Tamiya P-51D, Spitfire Mk V, Corsair & 487 sqn Mosquito Mk VI & a Minicraft Piper Cherokees for a change of pace). I also have half built Tamiya Dauntless but since I have moved so much it has got a bit crunched and some parts are missing. I must put a 1/48th Hunter on my want list (along with a Avenger, Zero and Bf-109).
Funny you should mention kits on Trademe I just picked up a Tamiya Corsair and Mosquito for good prices. I bid on them thinking somebody would bound to out bid me but it didn't happen- so I got these at good prices. Helps if you can bid on the go with your Iphone.
Nakiman , I'll check with younger brother .... as well as books, he has an insane model collection (all unmade ... ) there is bound to be hunter in that scale among his stuff , in fact knowing him, there may be a few .
