Should have a GA aircraft much to many use out at the Canterbury Aero Club .. or the Christchurch Flying School based out in Rangioura .

But no .. I had to stick with the tried and much loved A2A Warhawk warbird , the P51 is in maintanance cycle

Now got to the stage you could use this as a virtual road-map - goggle earth move over cool.gif

The pine plantation in and around Cuthbert Green in Bromley , run the course there back in my school days - ole cross country

looking back into the city , still a lot to be done , as mentioned before , this would the most accurate city center and out lying areas freely available
anywhere today , Pre Earthquake THO! ... the great thing is following the traffic around the streets smile.gif

500ft above the Waimakariri Rail bridge looking back towards the Christchurch city this is a two screen wide of the autogen that I am working on now.
When this is finished this high density photo Christchurch scenery is going to look brilliant but it is going to take a few months of work yet to get it finished.
For those of you who have already got this scenery the autogen updates will made available as we go.
For those that have not got this High Density Photo Christchurch scenery yet and would like to try it give either Ian or myself a PM with your email address and we will send you a download link.
Just a reminder though this file is just over 1GB.

And people wonder why I prefer VLC and the other home-grown sceneries over the upstart ORBX?
One looks pretty, the other looks real. I know which I prefer...that so much of it is freeware is just a bonus.

This works better with the Orbx due the the blend with photo and AGN .. big thing you can never denounce photo-real because it is honest ... it still will work with VLC , due to the shear area covered and course being my home wobbly place .... fact its home grown and free .

Ian, I don't really care if it works with ORBX - they should be managing their software to fit with VLC, not vice versa
Cheers,

We all agree on the fact ... That has been the argument since O stepped in the arena ... good example , this high definition mesh .. can't be , VLC has the correct elevations recent release of Foxpine required and increase in 3mtr or 10 ft approx ... its the control thing

I have to disagree with you there Ian as a hell of a lot of the AGN is ORBX and it will not show up in VLC, what you will get in VLC is a photo real scenery with only some of the original agn showing but none of the ORBX agn showing and also the photo does not blend in very well with VLC

A wide angle image plus a few pics of the latest agn on the North side of the Waimakariri River almost as real as it gets laugh.gif
On the upper right of the first pic you can see the difference as this is the old agn and will be replaced to look like the rest of the image.
