My CPL + MEIR Training Snaps

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Postby ScottyB » Sat May 04, 2013 9:02 am

Hi everyone,

As some of you know, I am not far away from completing my CPL + MEIR + ATPL exams at the IAANZ here in Christchurch. I started in February 2013 and have loved every minute. Not a day goes by when I get up in the air, look down over the city after I rotate and think how lucky I am to be doing this. It really is the best office in the world.

Here a just a couple of snaps from some of my training - apologies for some of the quality, they are all take on my iPhone/iPad

Hi nzav8tor,

No that is actually in a Piper Warrior (LJJ I think). Unfortunately the Partenavia P68s don't have them yet

Hmm, very interesting. I was looking at a TEA IR renewal a while back and found it very difficult to find a good option. Not to many Avidyne cockpits around but I was flying the Meridian so that Warrior would have been perfect for doing my check. One to keep in mind for the future... thanks!

Scotty, thanks for these photos! I start the Diploma of Aviation Course at the Academy in June and can honestly say I just CANNOT wait! All this construction work, saving money and watching the days tick by one by one is killing me dry.gif

All the best for your future endeavours,
Joe.
