Well finally we have our definitive RNZAF Mk3 and a more correct modeled Lodestar to ply the NZ Sky's , This will make Stewart very happy as his father flew the type in WWII cool.gif

Now we might see a flood of many RNZAF schemes used buy both , from the military to the early days of the New Zealand National Airways Corporation plane.gif

Hmm wonder watch the Lodestar access is like .. or if ya can at Wanaka ?

If you rang up the transport museum at Wanaka you might be able to get in.

When I went past there when I was home a few things had changed. They have started to clean up the Canberra and a few more things are in the shed now. Still a huge pile of cr@p out in the open though.

What inspired was the group having the Centurion Tank operating , Lodestar , AN-2 and many other features but they sorta missed the point in many places .. they seemed to dis-courage rather than the Bring it on attitude of the Ashburton Air Museum for example , may have been a few to many "Speights" 'pride of the South' the night before and before that and before that again ...

Would be nice to fly a "real" one in the sim...

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

These are free addons but after buying the Hudson pack now a year on at http://silvercloud-store.com/ .. had to be a must for New Zealand historical types , recon its still a WIP .
