Terry. Do u really need both FS9 & FSX versions? If not it'll be cheaper to buy one or the other on its own surely

Hmm no I dont need both, maybe ill just add it to my shopping list on http://www.flightsimstore.com/

my shopping basket has the following so far

Orbx NZNI
Orbx NZSI
Orbx Milford Sound
Aerosoft Extended A320
REX

Anything else I should go for?, not to sure about the Majestic Q400 yet, also do others use any ATC addons? because I do hate the default ATC

For ATC I've used Pro Flight Emulator resold by Aerosoft, with all the voice packs and not too impressed with that so ditched it. Started using VOX ATC and it seems alright, but a bit sensitive about pronunciation. See this post VOX ATC

Then the wife decided we need to buy a house so haven't really been doing much simming or flying in the last 8 months, been doing building maintenance instead!

Takeoff's are optional. Landings are mandatory.

I bought Rex Ess+ Overdrive a few weeks ago and I'm loving the new clouds, skies and seas. It also has a new weather engine which I use in preference to FSX. I don't fiddle with REX much. Loaded the textures 'out of the box' and then more or less left it. Changed a couple of textures and settings, but I'm not a tweaker; I just want to get on with flying places :-)
