OK now for the proper DH 86A that Union Airways had back in the mid 1930s after some searching I found the DH 86 FS9 aircraft which had the DH 86A model and one Union Airways paint for ZK-AEF so have done the other two paints for ZK-AEG and ZK-AEH
The DH 86 was a single pilot cockpit other models are the DH 86A with the wider two pilot cockpit and the DH 86B Fitted with auxiliary endplate fins to the tailplane.

Brilliant paints Doug. Love the formation shots! thumbup1.gif clapping.gif

The best exterior model is by Kazunori Ito and can be found at Simviation. Search for "Kazunori Ito" or "DH 86". This is by far the best all-round model although there are serious issues with the FDE including the fact it thinks the DH.86 has jet engines!

An alternative version both with and without the "Zulu Shields" on the tailplane (by Lee Holmes) can be found here.

Peter Watkins has done two superb repaint packs for the Ito-san model at BritSim.com, including the three Union Airways liveries. Search for "dh86".

Hope that helps thumbup1.gif

I spend eleven months of the year in the UK and one in NZ. I'm hoping to improve that... ;-)

The formation shot was using Formation Flight Toys for FSX downloaded from http://mudpond.org/
The three Union Airways repaints by Peter Watkins are of the Zulu Shields on the tailplane DH 86B model which was not used by Union Airways NZ.
The Union Airways NZ had the DH 86A model that did not have the Zulu Shields on the tailplane.
The first set of pics are of the Kazunori Ito DH 86 which only has the DH 86B model with the Zulu Shields on the tailplane the last set of pics are of Lee Holmes DH 86 for FS9 it has both the DH86A and the DH 86B models and does work if FSX It has four liveries with it, two model DH 86A one Imperial Airways and one Union Airways and two model DH 86B one Imperial Airways and one Qantas
