A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby Sonnyj » Sat Jul 06, 2013 6:54 am

Hi, I'm having troubles with photobucket...What are the alternatives? Gotta post that winning image somehow. winkyy.gif
Was gonna use NZpost but can't find a postie anymore.

I see there are a few different methods being used and would appreciate some advice.
Many thanks Sonnyj

Sonnyj , you may want to try Picassa .... its a free editing program , and upload via imageshack rather than photobucket , which in my opinion has gone to the dogs.
Picassa will also automatically convert the image to the right format for the forum (jpeg) but store the original image in whatever format you created in .

Good luck.

I must be the only person on the planet that is not having trouble with photobucket mine is working fine, sure they made some changes a while back and it took a bit to figure out how to use it again but I use it every day with not one problem?

Works fine but you can only have a 1024 width , they did have it were it was a 1280 after editing but now its only allowed at the smaller size , i moved away from the Bucket and now use OZx for my screens , and what better place to have your screens posted but a Flightsim site .

The problem I was having was the forum had to load from the HTML page of photobucket, sometimes it never showed up - well for me anyway??

No worries now though have made the change to imageshack. Seems all OK.

Thanks again for the assist.
