Be careful though .... sometime ago i was out at chc with a friend who was taking pics with a long lens of pilots in the cockpit .... evidently an ANZ Boeing pilot complained (to whom , we dont know) , and we were approached by some security numb nut and asked to leave ..... or put the camera away.
It resulted in a small argument , which we lost ..... and where escorted off the terminal .....
Hmm funny you should say that, tonight I was doing the same thing over the fence to a B1900D, and the Pilots approached me and said ''Did you get some good shots of the Beech?'' and then smiled and walked off! wish all pilots were like that!
will post more tonight maybeLast edited by Dash8captain on Sun Jul 14, 2013 6:56 pm, edited 1 time in total.'All things are possible to him that believes'

Dont let me put you off , your work is superb.... its just what happened to me .
Strange , since then , my friend put his pics online , and has "sold" heap's to ANZ pilots .... I guess ( and rightly so) some folk just dont like it..... and some do.Last edited by Splitpin on Sun Jul 14, 2013 7:07 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Yeah I'm glad to help anyone with photography, I am currently doing an online photography course so I'm learning more and more in the mean time Ham probably knows more than me'All things are possible to him that believes'

I think you'll find that grainy effect is coz your camera is on some AUTO-ISO mode. Hard to avoid in dark conditions like that though without flash or other lightingDeans repaints: http://www.deeknow.com/

Hmm, that must be some 737 or A320 in that contrail visible, and the dash 8 chases it!,
but however it wouldn't reach that specific aircraft in that contrail as that aircraft might be around FL330-FL350 and the dash 8's maximum flight altitude is FL250.
But if it reached it, gets overstressed and crashes, I'll be like this
Yes I agree - we see contrails just about every day except when its cloudy in Nelson'All things are possible to him that believes'
