Thats standard procedure , an A-4 cockpit is very small , they weren't picking on your dad .
I recall my one and only A-4 flight , i was told that if we needed to eject, i would more than likely leave my lower legs behind ... im 6ft 3" .

Oh yea just should have gone into that i've grown up hearing about aircraft dad was going to join airforce. In fact most of my early life the only planes i new about were airliners, Mig 29's and A-4k sky hawks. till i started reading and using the net.Eli'jah
