There's a great review over atAirDailyX -- brilliant job, Che, some mouth-watering detail there.
The ground polys are the best I've ever seen on a local scenery.

Thanks mate that really means alot coming from you! I didn't think that a small airport on the far side of the world would get so much attention.....never thought it would actually get a review at all haha.

Fantastic work, Che! I mean, absolutely jaw dropping. I went for a flight there yesterday but took about half an hour to actually take off as I couldn't stop looking around the airport. ohmy.gif

There's so much attention to detail it's quite amazing, especially the terminal interior. Will be a very regular stop for me from now on.

Hope you put your talents to some more airports soon!

Cheers,

Ade

Thanks man!

Hey just wondering how its running on everyones computers? 99% of the computers seem to be good, all the ones I tested it on it displayed great. Seems theres a few Odd-Ball computer setups that have weird problems.

A superb package.....and a seamless installation after disabling the three ORBX NZNP ADE files in the FTX_NZ/FTX_NZNI_05/Scenery Folder.

Ok, let's re-install ORBX's "Bob" so that I can walk around... Nice work man, I hope you'll keep them coming!

Works absolutely perfect, I think I may need to invest in Either VLC or the ORBX products though as It doesn't look as good as your screenshots in my sim sad.gif

Just downloaded it and activated the scenery, that was a very realistic scenery, payware quality and is a 10 out of 10 from me! thumbup1.gif cool.gif clapping.gif punk.gif winkyy.gif

Even I replaced Lawrie's NZNP scenery with this stunning scenery.

Just one question, does this scenery fit the VLC North Island Airfields' NZNP bgls or the bgls need to be deactivated?

Yes it is FABULOUS isnt it !!! Definately 10 out of 10 !!
Glad you got rid of my old scenery,... that was only a quick and dirty port over of my old FS9 scenery anyway, only done due to several requests to make it work in FSX.
I dont have OrbX, but it fits perfectly into VLC without any issues.
Yes, i disabled the NZNP files from the free VLC North Island Airfields package by placing them in the folder labelled "Inactive".

Nice work! One slight issue, any aircraft that I try to land always crash! Would I need to disable all of the NZNP files that came with the VLC NI Airfields?

Yes, you should disable the NZNP_ADEX_VLC.bgl, the NZNP_ADEX_CVX.bgl and the NZNP_Objects-VLC.bgl files but just keep the NZNP_Objects-Town.bgl file.

To disable it, you should place those 3 files I mentioned in the folder named 'Inactive'.

Thanks! I'll have to try that.

Hi Folk,

My first post but I am a regular enjoyer of the postings on this site. Like Blackout I seem to have the same problem with the New Plymouth scenery. I have done as indicated and disabled the three files as indicated by zk2704 as I have VLC and the airports installed. I have also deactivated Snowmans New Plymouth which I had installed. But I still get the instant crash if I start at NZNP or crash whenever I try to land there. Is there anything else I may not have done properly or missed doing?

Cheers

If youve removed my old NZNP scenery from the Addon Scenery folder, dont forget to also remove the file AFX_NZNP_ALT.bgl from FSX /Scenery / World / Scenery folder !
I dont know if this could be the cause of your problem or not.

Alright... I disabled all of the VLC NI Airfields, and now it is the only NZNP Scenery other than the default. But it still crashes! WHY?!?!

Hi Lawrie,
Thanks. I had already tracked that one down as well and removed the file, but still no change.

You should not have had to disable the VLC scenery or airport .

After adjusting and tinkering - first you also want to delete or isolate files

1 - Delete all your old historical logged flights

2 - You want to delete the FSX.cfg. file - found in your AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX folder .. Delete the CFG only they will rebuild when restart FSX

3 - Defrag your PC could be added to the list
