A wee item of interest for Marty here.

Actually I have planes for a 114" span one that I have had for a while. Just need some "man shed" time to start on it.

People used to do that with control line aircraft back in the old days. I bet with some creative thinking they could come up with a better and more realistic way of doing that. biggrin.gif

Does anyone think that these videos are real?

I'm a Wilga devotee... what a brilliant concept for a day's gliding!
Would have loved to see that, thanks for posting.

Outstanding aircraft. What a great event.
I wonder if the Pawnee is a World models ARF that has been given the scale treatment?
Thanks for sharing.

Well that's interesting I have never seen RC gliders towed up by RC aircraft before looks quite cool but I imagine quite difficult to do since you have to remain in formation with the tow aircraft.

The Pawnee is 33% from Hanger 9 powered by a 111cc petrol motor. Website
I love watching the gliders, it is the most scale like models you can get. What these guys can do with these models is amazing

That is awesome and a sure winner at the Jet Masters. Seriously this guy must be loaded, single and childless and have the patience of a saint:)
I was amazed at how stable it was in flight.
