The worse part is the blood ....it goes everywhere...model, tools and transmitter. Not having any bandaids I had to resort to folding and wrapping a paper towel around my finger and securing with a plastic tie. After that field repair I managed to continue. It all amused my partner no end. Actually it was good having her there (besides her doubled over in laughter at my misadventure) as she offered to go and get the model after the engine quit....better than duck shooting with a retriever. Every modeller should have one. All in all a semi successful day.
Bummer .. loosing all that hydraulic fluid .. what you have to do is rip the shirt of ya back (like in the movies) cut it into ribbons - make a tourniquet , wrap around your neck for the primary and one - twist till tight - for the secondary - the wrist to make sure and to complete any major prob , next around the cut finger .......... SEE you can tell i did a First Aid course
