Dreamliner

Hi guys! I've been off to work for the past two weeks and have two more weeks ahead of me. This means no simming, but I do get to snap some pictures. I hope it's OK if I post some non-NZ pics here in Off Topic?

I regularly fly into Stockholm-Arlanda airport (ARN/ESSA), and it was just my luck that in my first week back to work British Airways started their Dreamliner flights with a relatively short sector from Heathrow to Stockholm. I hadn't had the pleasure of seeing the 787 in action before, so it was a fun week for me.

As a bonus, Norwegian came along with their 787 as well, but all I got was this lousy T-shirt smartphone pic....

Now I'm looking forward to an Air NZ 787-9, as it will have more pleasing proportions (IMO). Anyway, I hope you can enjoy the pictures! smile.gif

Lovely pics, my that is a nice shiny new airrplane eh? and look at that plastic wing flex!

The TDS model is almost correct but I forgive it the small discrepancies because it's so much fun.
Co-incidentally have been playing with the BA flavour and love looking at it.

Thanks for the comments guys! The 787 is slowly growing on me, although I still think the proportions are a bit off. The A350 or Bombardier CS100 seem just a bit more pleasant to the eye (without going in to which one is better).

I'm not sure why but everytime I see an image of the 'Roman Candle' I think of the the old Kids TV series The Clangers.

Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

I understand the Clangers, a show i obviously missed but the 'Roman Candle' ... I use that term when jumping from a doom aircraft and your chute not opening ohmy.gif
