Rod Steward singing in the background.
Wine Steward pouring the champagne.
Lucky we have enough in store to last the whole week, if need...

Maybe the next one should be done in sail planes instead of sail boats that would make it more interesting tongue.gif

Doug think of it this way:
A piper cub having already taken off, would be blown away by these wind-driven monsters.
It's interesting all right...

She's in the picture now... but it's the OTHER Fat Lady!!
Tomorrow's Racing: All or nothing, for a variety of reasons.
Not least: the team of No Win No Fee vulture lawyers Ellison has lined up for the legal battle that could ensue if the victory is not by more than 2 points.

...nothing, it turns out.
They do it again tomorrow, and Oracle gets port entry advantage!

Here's a thought: Oracle seem to be getting better, but what if TNZ is just getting... worse?
When they put the big cat over at 45 degrees, there was most of 7 tonnes up in the air.
When it dropped again, you saw a shiver go up the mast and through the wing.
What if it's broken?
They would not be telling anyone if it were, maybe they don't even know the extent of damage.
A very small kink could easily make the difference between sailing away into the distance, and being sailed away from.

Oh well , at least its over . I really feel for the guys on our (main) boat , but i tend to go along with the other "half full glass" types , in so much as its a NZ showcase.
Dont want to get into the money side of things , although it is a big factor , its over .
But Im sure the autopsy will go on for years .

I hope the team NZ guys go out tonight and get trashed in S.F ...... good one ya boys , you did well .
