Going to get back into Vatsim tonight, just wondering what STAR/SIDs do the ANZ turoboprops typically use for Northbound departures/arrivals from NZAA? Going to visit NZKK and NZWR smile.gif

Hey Shamrock. In my experience when flying north out Auckland on t-props on VATSIM (which are usually real-world procedures) you can expect PEEHA (23L) OR RANGI (05R) SIDs which break off to the north soon after takeoff (at 500ft)

Arrivals wise at NZAA it depends on what equipment you have in your particular model, but real world once again you could be on the RNAV STARs of APABO (23L) or UKAPA (05R) but the props will often request a visual arrival for each if you prefer and traffic allows it, I often request a visual just for fun, also saves a little time-wise.

Good luck mate getting that beast down on NZWR. Talking to our Q300 pilots they say it is fun in that machine! Might give it a bash tonight too.
See you in the sky.

hey mate with the beech we fly peeha 1A off 23L and Rangi 1B when going to WR or KK sometimes we get the Emrag1B if it's busy to the north we usually are not on sid for long and get radar vectors on track.

Seen the Dash land so short at WR that no backtrack is required (from either direction) to vacate the runway via the apron turn off.
A full 1900d crossing the threshold at 50 feet with no headwind and a wet runway surface is a different story however!

05R rangi - if you call early and get a SID cancel then its an early turn if no traffic in the zone otherwise the SID is to the VOR then left.
23L Peeha - cross the runway end then right, again an early call may get you going north early but we still get them across the runway end first.

Arrivals for TP's - either the visual or the ILS or VOR/DME - the Rnavs are only done by approved operators in the Jets at the moment.
