Just Unlucky ?

Hi Guys,

Is it just me and my immediate family. ?

My sister in law's brother, lost( and I mean lost !!! ) his house in the big shake.
Was up the hill in cashmere, and the land just slid away, taking the lot. no way to rebuilt, so
he and his wife moved to New Plymouth.

Yesterday my bro Barry (he of Westpac Rescue in Auckland fame) was on holiday in Melbourne.
They got a phone call from their son, who advised them that theirs was the house in
Devonport, which is now a "convertible" ie no roof !!!
They are now trying to get a flight back ASAP.



And what about me......

Well 2 months ago a storm here in Perth, took out my entire back fence !!!!

After the latest news, my problems are trifling.

I Always remember this quote.

Kinda puts it in perspective, dont it ?

Strike a lightning next , yeah TV-3 news had a quick bulletin last night , of recent had a wind here in ex Wobblyville (Shakey Seddon swiped the glory there) blowing everything in from plantations to fence and sorts 6plus weeks back some only getting power last week ..

Tornado thru ..... Next thing in Auckland ... surely a Volcanic eruption must be next !
