Night time is when I have time to fly. I'm thinking after some flying in NZ, I'll head up north so when I fly night time here in NZ, it will be daytime up there.

You do have the option .. They called it daylight savings biggrin.gif ...

Hehe. I'm a bit of a purist - focus on flying precisely to UTC time.

Treat as if your a test pilot - do a couple of fast runs down the run be Mr Brian Trumbshaw or Andre Tucat .. do couple time , no need to go high , easy to 10000 , full throttle and extra kick in the pants the four small levers at the bottom of your throttle quad are your afterburner ... don't forget you cannot die biggrin.gif ... landing is like aim it down the runway as if your flying a 747 but make a very long approach , i saw one land in NZCH and flew it in like a fighter ... maybe take the freeware Mirage out ... that will get you use you the delta feel

I had the issue a few weeks ago and did a reinstall yesterday - didn't make any difference. I also downloaded and installed NZSI SP2. I'll try it one more time.

Just a quick update. After an unsuccessful job interview trip to UAE, and a week in Brisbane, I've finally back in NZ and ready to start flying again. I believe I'm on the ground in Te Anau...

So, to get things started again.

We begin in NZAA. Trip to OMDB

Overhead Sydney

On approach to OMDB

On the ground in OMDB for the night

Getting ready for the next leg (OMDB to EGLL)

Outbound at OMDB

Flying past the Burj Kalifa

Dubai skyline

Inbound EGLL

Oh no, I'm going to miss VATNZ Wellington to Auckland. Time for a flight back, EGLL to NZAA. I must say, if I didn't climb to 39,000, available fuel at NZAA would have been 1.9T. I flew the PMDG 777-LR - Emirates config with additional AUX fuel tanks.

In Cruise (over India I think)

Back in time. Flying in as EK469 for Runway 23L ARADI6A arrival (had my RNP request denied by VATNZ ATC).

Flying into NZWN during the VATNZ event.
